Daisy and Sister

Fight for little lives

Daisy was born at just 27 weeks weighing a tiny 1lb 8.5oz. Her earliest days were a terrifying roller coaster: “It was very frightening for us to see Daisy connected to all the wires and machinery looking so vulnerable, but keeping her alive,” her mum Deborah says. “She proved to be a fighter though.” Thankfully Daisy, now seven, is doing well – and is big sister to baby Poppy, who also arrived early.

Action is dedicated to helping premature babies like Daisy and you can help – one scone at a time.

I’ve been supporting Action for more than a decade now”, says the GP and TV presenter. “I think this fundraiser is such a fantastic way to not only raise funds but also awareness for such an amazing cause. Order a box of cream teas, enjoy them with friends, family or work colleagues and just think what a difference your donation could make.
